Coronation Weekend
5th to 7th May 2023

We'd planned some events for the weekend of 5th to 7th May 2023.

Then King Charles arranged his coronation for that weekend!

But our events don't clash with any of the royal events,

so we're going ahead as planned.

Why not join us for one or more of our quiz, comedy and church service, as well as watching the coronation, attending a street party etc?

Rounds will include royalty, sport, music and more.

Tea, coffee and squash available.

An evening of comedy with Andy Kind. Andy has been doing Stand-up since 2005. He has been featured on BBC1, ITV and Channel 4, while he’s had jokes featured on Dave’s One Night Stand and Live at the Apollo.

Tony Porter was Bishop of Sherwood from 2006 to 2020. Before that, he was a parish priest in Bacup and Manchester, where he was chaplain to Manchester City FC and Greater Manchester Police. He is a keen sports fan, and played hockey and cricket for many years.

Bishop Tony will be our guest preacher at our service of Holy Communion at 10.00am on Sunday 7th May in Coppull Parish Church.
